Print Shop

All my prints are made with the greatest attention paid to workmanship in the entire process. All prints are limited edition. Each print is signed, numbered and delivered with a certificate of authenticity. The size specified is the size of the paper, the print will have a one inch (2.54 cm) white border.

The smallest standard size that I print is 60.96 cm (24'') short side, this means almost 2 meters long side (!) for a 3:1 panoramic print. This is  is a large print. The reason that I do not offer smaller standard sizes is that I want the polarised essence of nature, for example, its complexity and simplicity, its symmetry or asymmetry, its dissonance and harmony to be fully visible to the viewer. The print has to offer the viewer a chance to explore nature, just like I saw it. For larger or smaller prints, kindly contact me for a special order.

All prints are works of art that are custom produced to order. I am also actively pursuing new creative projects year round and may be in the wilderness for extended periods of time. Minimum standard delivery time is three weeks and it could be up towards 8 weeks. Please send me an email if you have a time sensitive order.

I primarily use three papers in my printing process, all of which are acid-free, 100% cotton, more than 300 gsm fine-art papers. For black and white prints (and some rare colour prints) I use Hahnemühle Photo Rag, which is a matt and smooth paper with excellent tonal reproduction. For colour prints, I prefer Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta and Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl. The Baryta has a glossy base with a very light texture and provides excellent contrast. Pearl is slightly more textured giving it a semi matt appearance. Each photograph specifies what paper you can expect.
