The Last Wilderness is a project designed to raise awareness about our last wilderness areas by inspiring people to experience wilderness. This will support long-term protection and the creation of new areas. As nature conservation has to start at home, we are starting the project in Europe.

In this project, photographer and filmmaker Jonas Paurell and team will visit wilderness areas all across Europe to produce a YouTube series and a set of high quality images from the areas, which will capture the unique essence and character of the area.

• Instagram account sharing stories made by the target audience and their heroes

• Website: Relevant updates and honest storytelling from the journey.

• Photography Exhibition: The Last Wilderness - A Photographic Exploration of Europe's Final Wilderness Areas. A curation of images travelling around Europe and beyond. 

• Photography Book: The Last Wilderness - A Photographic Exploration of Europe's Final Wilderness Areas
   

The Last Wilderness is currently in pre-production and fundraising.
